The Final Rights by Sh Waleed Abd Hakeem

Abu Darda  said that the Messenger of Allah addressed us on a Friday saying:
"The smartest among you is the one who remembers death the most, and the wisest among you is the one who is best ready for it"
I'm sure the quote must be really familiar to you guys, right? And insyaallah, we're working on that or at least had put an aim to be the wisest among anyone else.

Lebih tepat, saya akan berkongsi tentang practical ways on how to act when a person is dying in front of our eyes.

These are the things that we can do, insyaallah.

1) Invite righteous people
- Seeing anyone dying may put us in a panic situation isn't it? Nanti mungkin akan gelabah tak tentu arah mata berpinar, so, just order someone to call upon someone yang kita tahu ada ilmu yang lebih

2) Wiping his face with water

3) Moisten the lips
- To ease him to say syahadah

4) Prompting him to say syahadah
- There's a hadith saying that, whoever could say syahadah before he die, he'll go to jannah. But, it doesn't mean whoever didn't, will go to hell. Maybe they said it by heart.
So, don't OVER-FORCING the dying person to say syahadah.

5) Pray for him
- There's no specific du'a actually, because every single du'a on that time will be ameen by the malaaikah.

Okay, now, we'll proceed on things should be done after the person dies.
Masih bersemangat? Tidak boleh tidaaakk, harus! (hewhew)

1) Make sure the person has really died
- Looking for the proves : The eyes ( bila disuluh, mata tidak mengecik), Nafas (put mirror dekat hidung, pastikan tidak ada wap terhasil), Suhu badan (menaik), Elasticity of the skin (berkurang, bila kulit itu ditarik, lambat kembali ke posisi asal).

* This one is really important especially for the future doctors sebab banyak kes mangsa yang disahkan mati tapi sebenarnya masih bernyawa. Uhuk sedih sobs sobs.

2) Pray with the Prophet's Dua
- Actually, I didn't manage to write the dua, but this is what I've found in the internet.
O Allah, forgive Abu Salama, raise his degree among those who are rightly guided, make his grave spacious for him, grant him light in it, and grant him a successor in his descendants who remain
3) Tighten the jaws
Jangan kasar-kasar ye.

4) Loosening the joints
- Not to let it become stiff

5) Cover the dead body with a piece of cloth from top to the bottom

6) Taking off the clothes he wears
- Because it will get expand and tight.

7) Kiss the dead body
- Its a sunnah. Rasulullah kissed Uthman when he get killed.

8) Hasten in paying the debts

Haa nampak tak betapa essential nya bayar hutang?
Jadi, beringatlah, jika berhutang, terus catit sebelum terlupa membayar :)

9) Hasten the funeral
- Remember, if the person is good enough, the grave for him will be furnished with furniture from Jannah. Smelled with the smell from Jannah. It will be widely open to welcome those who loved by Allah.

Insyaallah, that's all from me. Hope this will bring benefits to us.
