Sheikh
Tawfique Chowdury began by emphasizing the importance of seeking and having
knowledge in life by revising the story of our Prophet Yusuf a.s.
THE IMPORTANCE OF KNOWLEDGE
When he was a child, Yusuf a.s was
thrown into a well by his own brothers. He was rescued by a passing caravan,
which then sold him into slavery in Egypt to a rich man referred to as ‘Aziz.
Yusuf a.s was described as a very attractive man that Zulaikha trapped and
attempted to seduce him, causing him to spend his life in prison. After being
imprisoned for a few years, Allah had granted him the ability to interpret
dreams, a power in which he became popular amongst the prisoners. With this
gifted KNOWLEDGE, only then Yusuf a.s was brought to the king and at Yusuf’s
a.s request he was given Egypt’s warehouses to look after.
SubhanAllah! Amazing..isn’t it??
Can’t you see where the power of knowledge had brought Yusuf a.s to??
We seek knowledge because it is an
obligation.
We need knowledge to be close to
Allah.
We educate ourselves so that we can
help His Deen.
ALLAH’S PROMISE
"…Verily,
Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong,
All-Mighty. Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land,
(they) order the establishment of the Salaah, to pay the Zakaah, and they
enjoin all good, and forbid all evil. And with Allah rests the end of (all)
matters (of creatures)." (22:40-41)
Sheikh Tawfique had also brought us to see and asked us to
look into history. Look what Allah had done to help this Deen.

SPREAD THE KNOWLEDGE
“I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks.
By those who drive away devil (to protect our revelation). And those who recite
Our revelations.” [al-Saffat, 37;1-4]
“Demi (rombongan malaikat) yang berbaris bersaf-saf. Demi
(rombongan) yang mencegah dengan bersungguh-sungguh. Demi (rombongan) yang
membacakan peringatan.”
[al-Saffat, 37;1-4]
He quoted a hadith reported by
Mua’wiyyah bin Qurrah that Prophet s.a.w said,
“There will not cease to be a taai’fah from
my Ummah (who are) helped (mansooreen) and they will not be harmed by those who
desert them until the establishment of the hour” (Ibn Maajah)
Generally, this hadith tells us
that there will always be a group of people that will be helped by Allah. Nothing to fear as Allah help is near, as simple as
raising hands to the heaven.
So brothers and
sisters, let us walk the talk! =D
Rise of the nation that later leads
to the Best of the nation indeed depend on Us as WE ARE PART OF THE BALANCED
NATION!!
